Bob and I were excited to get an email from our publisher last night informing us that "Digital Engagement" had been chosen as a pick of the week. Here's a copy of the text from the email from getAbstract:
Subject: Digital Engagement - Abstract of the Week
It is my pleasure to let you know that the getAbstract book recommendation for the AMACOM title Digital Engagement by Leland Harden and Bob Heyman is featured, complete with cover picture, as Abstract of the Week on our Web site. Each week the editorial team chooses outstanding titles to take pride of place on our homepage (in the leading category, Editor’s Picks). Click on the following link to view this:

Congratulations!
As Abstract of the Week, Digital Engagement is also promoted in the intranets of BMW, Bosch Siemens, Deutsche Telekom, Swiss Re and UBS - just to name a few.
Not knowing much about getAbstract, I went to their site and found this company description:
"getAbstract summarizes business books, making our subscribers the best-read, most expert players on the business scene today. Our mission is to provide executives worldwide with the best in business knowledge. We deliver this knowledge in concise summaries of the latest, sharpest and most relevant books. Our summaries are available in English and German.
getAbstract was founded in 1999, the brainchild of three global business executives who saw a growing need for putting more knowledge in people’s hands, in a format they could quickly absorb to stay current. Click here for the story of getAbstract.
Many of the world's largest companies offer their employees full access to the getAbstract Library. Our clients include some of the most sophisticated and knowledge-driven firms in business today. Our customer base spans the globe and includes such household names as Microsoft, Citigroup, DaimlerChrysler, Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers, SAP, Deutsche Post, UBS and Credit Suisse."
When I read this my response was, of course, "WOW!!" We're thrilled that "Digital Engagement" is reaching so many talented executives, and that it continues to be recognized as a definitive text for online marketing. ONWARD!
