Instead of asking a blogger to write about you -- ask them to promote themselves. We all love to talk about ourselves!

Twilight.top21sites.com (promoting the movie Twilight) - lists all the fan sites for the movie. The fan sites get top listing if they get fans to vote for them. So each of the individual sites runs a banner sending people back to the organizer.

It's a great mutually-beneficial promotion. Small sites are eager to get traffic by being listed first, and the organizer gets hundreds of sites linking back to them for free.
